Asante Kotoko enterprising left-back Ibrahim Imoro will leave the shores of the country at the end of the season for a fresh challenge in Europe ahead of the summer transfer window, according to the latest intelligence gathered by Ghana Sports Online.
Imoro has been one of the brightest spots at Kotoko and it comes as little to no surprise he is courting the interest of expatriate clubs.
The English-based representative of the bombarding full back has been able to secure a lucrative offer for the defender who has been capped once at senior level by Ghana.
Imoro replaced Jordan Ayew on the 70th minute mark during Ghana’s 3-1 triumph over Sao Tome and Principe in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers last month.
Though details of the offer still remain scanty and according to Ghana Sports Online’s sources, the defender could be heading to Scandinavia to pursue his foreign career.
The 21-year-old has scored twice and provided two assists in 20 league appearances for the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.
Imoro joined Kotoko on a 4-year deal from Thunder FC in December 2019.
Meanwhile, right-back Christopher Nettey has also been linked with a move abroad.
