The record holders of the Ghanaian top flight will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways on the back of their narrow home defeat to title contenders Medeama SC which culminated in the Porcupine Warriors surrendering their top spot to the Mauves and Yellows.

Asante Kotoko, who boast of the best away record in the top flight must dig deep to overcome a Legon Cities – who are seeking to steer clear away from relegation – side led by experienced technical brain Bashir Hayford.

The return of midfield kingpin Mudasiru Salifu – who was sorely missed in his side’s defeat – from suspension will reinforce the midfield positions.

Additionally Richard Senanu makes a return to the squad while forward Sarfo Taylor makes his first inclusion and trip with the club since joining the Kumasi-based heavyweights.
