Ebusua Dwarfs supporters Public Relations Officer (PRO) Mboma has intimated his outfit is not ready to agree with the decision of the Ghana Football Association to relocate them to the Paa Kwesi Nduom Sports complex in Elmina for the foreseeable future.
In a recent communique by the football association to the Crabs, Dwarfs will be hosting their home games at the aforementioned match venue instead of their favorite Cape Coast sports stadium due to works on improving the pitch and other facilities at the venue to meet the required FIFA/CAF standards ahead of Ghana’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Ethiopia.
Dwarfs will however return to the Cape Coast Stadium after the Black Stars match for the remaining league and MTN FA Cup matches.
However it appears the supporters leadership are not glad with the decision of the Ghana FA. Expressing his side’s opinion on the decision, Mboma told Sikka FM:
“We are not ready to accept the decision of the Ghana Football Association to relocate us to the Nduom Stadium,”
He lamented the managers of football in the West African nation have given the ‘Idepandey Idekay’ a raw deal.
“The FA has not been fair to us and we call on them to rescind their decision.” He ended.
Meanwhile, the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has announced its decision to reschedule the qualifiers to September to afford most of the countries a chance to put in the right preparations before the qualifiers for the world’s largest football gathering commences.
