Deputy skipper of Ghanaian heavyweights Asante Kotoko Emmanuel Gyamfi has appeared on the radar of top Zambian Super League outfits.
It would be recalled that earlier this week Gyamfi was linked with a move to four-time winners of the Nigerian Professional League, Kano Pillars as his contract with the Porcupine Warriors nears expiration.
But it appears Kano Pillars are not the only side on the continent chasing after the signature of Gyamfi with top sides in Zambia hot on the heels of the Ghanaian.
According to sources available to Sportscorna.com in Zambia Zanaco, Lusaka Dynamos and Napsa Stars have showed interest in signing Emmanuel Gyamfi.
Per reports gaining roots in the local media landscape, Kotoko – his current employers – is expected to table an improved bid in the coming days to extend Gyamfi’s stay in Kumasi.
The speed merchant affectionately called ‘Pajero’ is not new to transfer rumours linking him to Southern Africa with Zesco United showing interest in the 26-year-old after impressing against the Ndola giants in the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Gyamfi was on duty for Asante Kotoko on match day 23 of the Ghanaian top-flight as the Porcupine Warriors staged a comeback to beat Dreams FC at the Obuadi Len Clay stadium.
