Abdulai Nurudeen provided a crucial assist for Aduana Stars in the ongoing Ghana Premier league on Sunday afternoon.
A lone assist from the former Karela United centre back powered Aduana Stars to a 1-0 home victory over Berekum Chelsea at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park in the match-day 23 of the Ghanaian top-flight.
Nurudeen was handed a starting role in the centre-back position and put up a rock-solid performance at the back to ensure his team completely shut out the the Bibiries.
In the 46th minute, the defender assisted Benjamin Tweneboah from a free kick, which seemed harmless at the time it was taken but immediately the ball was missed by the Chelsea defender, Tweneboah took advantage to score a volley to secure the needed victory for Aduana Stars.
Nurudeen who can play as a holding midfielder and a striker lasted the entire duration of the match.
Aduana Stars has maintained it’s 100 percent record at home in the ongoing campaign.
With the win the Ogya lads have climbed up to the eighth position on the league table with 33 points.
