FC Nordsjaelland’s hot prospect Kamal Deen Sulemana has opened up about rumours linking him away from the Danish Superliga amid growing interest from Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam.
Undoubtedly the most-talked about attacker in the Danish Superliga, Kamal Deen Sulemana has aroused the interest of top clubs in mainstream Europe with big guns like Manchester United, Liverpool and Dortmund all lurking around to price the 19-year-old away from Denmark.
Coming off the back of a superlative display against FC Copenhagen were he scored a sumptuous goal under the watchful gaze of scouts which included Marc Overmars of Ajax Amsterdam, the Techiman-born wideman intimated he is ready to test himself against the very best in Europe’s elite divisions.
“Yes I’m ready to take the next step. I can see myself playing at the big clubs. I’m open to all options, especially the top 5 Eruopean leagues but also big clubs outside these leagues.
“Ajax falls in this category. A great club,” Sulemana told Ekstrabladet.
Should Ajax table a bid convincing enough for Nordsjaelland, he will be the second Ghanaian player moving from Denmark to Netherlands following Kudus Mohammed’s move last summer.
The 19-year-old still has three and half years left on his contract with the Danish outfit putting them in the driving seat at the negotiation table.
Sulemana is enjoying an impressive campaign with FC Nordsjaelland. He has ten goals and three assists to his name in 25 appearances so far this season.
He has been used both as a winger and as a striker by FC Nordsjaelland head coach Flemming Steen Pedersen this season.
