Interim head coach of Ghana Premier League outfit Ashgold, Thomas Duah has called on the wrath of God to descend on his detractors.
The former footballer and club legend has been slammed with a myriad of accusations by some section of the club supporters following the bizarre departures of substantive coaches at Ashgold.
Ashgold, four-time winners of the Ghanaian top-flight, have employed three different gaffers in the 24 week old Ghana Premier League an unenviable status which has aroused suspicions of Thomas Duah bad-mouthing the head coaches to the top hierarchy of the Miners.
But in response to such claims, the former footballer who expressed his anger about the situation suggesting the hullabaloo at the Obuasi-based side is nothing but an agenda by detractors.
“The person who appointed me as a head coach hasn’t seen anything wrong with my job. People have plotted an agenda against me and God will punish those people because it’s not easy to become famous so I won’t sit back and watch them destroy me within a second” Duah told Kumasi based OTEC FM
“They’ve [some people in Obuasi] planned to destroy me but their agenda won’t work as planned. God will deal with those at AshGold who want my downfall” he ended.
On the pitch, Duah is yet to pick a positive response following back-to-back defeats in the Ghana Premier League with Berekum Chelsea the recent side to add salt to Thomas Duah’s injuries.
