Division Two League outfit Ghana Army FC played out a nerve-shredding one-all draw with Tudu Mighty Jets at the Teshie Military Academy Training Schools (MATS) Park on Friday.

The Camouflage Boys were billed to play fellow security services team Immigration FC on Friday however the inability of the latter to show up saw Mighty Jets drafted in – which proved to be equally tantalizing.

It was Mighty Jets, former Ghana Premier League side, that broke the deadlock five minutes after recess through Lukeman but six minutes later the home side restored parity through the boots of Army Trooper Amoako – which proved to be the last goal of an entertaining fixture – as the game ended in a stalemate.

Army FC are gearing themselves up for the upcoming Greater Accra Division Two League which is set to kick off at the end of the month.

At the end of the game, the Army side expressed their benevolence in a profound manner when they donated assorted drinks to the junior side of Mighty Jets as part of the Eid Mubarak celebrations.
