Goaltender of capital-based outfit Hearts of Oak, Richard Attah appears to have rediscovered his best form after enduring a poor outing in the first half of the season.
Attah, formerly of Elmina Sharks, was the safest pair of hands for the Phobians in the truncated 2019-2020 Ghana Premier League with his stupendous performance receiving plaudits from the larger footballing community was capped with a callup to the national team.
However, a fast fall from grace which reached its peak with a disastrous outing against Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyeman Badu I park ensured he effectively lost his position as the safest pair of hands for the Phobians.
Taking a cue from the old adage “the downfall of a man is not the end of the world” the man-mountain goalkeeper has steadily gained form and he is arguably back to his best as he was in between the sticks to aid the Phobians shut out their opponents for the third consecutive time in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
His recent shut out against Elmina Sharks has seen him extend his clean sheets to six in his last six games.
In total Attah has mustered eight clean sheets and conceded nine goals in 14 games for Hearts of Oak. Should he continue on this tangent, it would come as no surprise when the technical handlers restore him as one of the deputies of Richard Ofori.
