Head coach of Techiman Eleven Wonders Ignatius Osei-Fosu has issued a warning to match day 26 opponents, Hearts of Oak of fielding red-hot talent Salifu Ibrahim in their game this afternoon.
Salifu Ibrahim before moving to the capital was a stalwart in the Technician Eleven Wonders set-up and ahead of this afternoon’s clash many have touted the seven-time NASCO man-of-the-match award winner to unlock the defence of his former side.
But tough-talking tactician, Ignatius Osei-Fosu has, who handled Salifu during his stint with Eleven Wonders has urged the Phobians to sit him out of the game because he has the perfect antidote to silence the in-form player affectionately called Di Maria.
“I know Salifu Ibrahim than any other. He will not get the chance to play his best in our game against Hearts Of Oak. Eleven Wonders have been able to stop any dangerous player in the Ghana Premier League. We only need the 11 v 11 with the only support from both coaches,” he told Kumasi-based radio station Pure FM.
He added Salifu will be substituted on the hour mark and barring any unforeseen hands asssiting Hearts of Oak Eleven Wonders will edge their illustrious opponents.
“I will advise Hearts not to use Salifu Ibrahim ‘Di Maria’ because he can’t play. We know him too much. The best plan for them is not to use him. Salifu will be substituted on the 60th minute mark if he plays. I only need 11v11 with no other influence.”
